Heritage Sandy Springs is a 501(c) 3 not-for-profit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the historic and cultural identity ofSandy Springs. Through a public/private partnership with the City ofSandy Springs, Heritage Sandy Springs manages and operates the Heritage Green parksite in the heart of the City. Heritage Green is the home of the original springs, the Sandy Springs Society Entertainment Lawn, the Heritage Sandy Springs Museum at the Williams-Payne House and our newly renovated office building onBluestone Road. Heritage Green is one of the few precious green spaces within the city limits of our vibrant community and the only gathering spot in the heart ofSandy Springs. Heritage Sandy Springs wants the space to be a "people's park" that will enrich the quality of life forSandy Springsresidents and visitors through recreational, historical and educational opportunities.
Heritage Sandy Springs depends on funding from members, donors, Sandy Springs Society, business sponsors, and the City ofSandy Springs. Annual program offerings include Concerts by the Springs, Sandy Springs Festival, Light the Lights, Wind Down Wednesdays, and a variety of educational programs at the Heritage Sandy Springs Museum.
